Carving Pumpkins

Today we did the annual pumpkin carving. We actually went with a face this year (we've done spiders and cats in the past) and I think it's our best one yet! W got into this year and didn't make the horrible face when scooping out the guts. Unfortunately, T was napping during the carving but had so much fun looking at his new "pum pum"

The finished project all lite up.

Monster Mash

Here in Covington, the hospital has an annual fundraiser called "Monster Mash" at Bogafalaya Park. It is a really cute event with carnival games, food, live children's music and bouncies. Here's a glimpse of our afternoon.
They have a trick or treat station set up with lots of painted houses where the kids can go window to window getting candy
Here are my little superheros running around like crazy after eating their corndogs for lunch
CapitalOne Bank did FREE photos of the kids. They took their picture in front of a green screen and then imported them into one of two designs. We laughed after looking at this picture a little more closely - since Tyler's sleeves were green on his costumes, they disappeared in the picture.

School Picture Day

Today was school picture day for W at school. We decided to take some practice shots before we left. He was hammin' it up for me. Hopefully he smiled like one of the first two and not the last! :)

Pickin' Pumpkins

This weekend we FINALLY got some cooler weather and we took the boys to the little make-shift pumpkin patch down the road at a french market. Ok, so the boys have on shorts but we had much more fall like weather than last year when we picked out pumpkins.

T's 2nd Birthday

Today my sweet baby boy turned 2. We had a small family party today and Tues we will have some buddies over for a little sesame street party. (So, another post will follow after party pics are taken.) Can't believe T is already 2! We gave him a tricycle and Bert and Ernie dolls. W gave him the Count doll. At first I thought we had traumatized the boy with those dolls because he wasn't so sure about them. However, it didn't take long for him to warm up to them. Now he has his favorite sesame street characters with him whenever he wants.
