Take Me out to the Ballgame

I have been at the ball fields a good 4 times a week for games and/or practices.  I really don't see how my sister, or some families I knew growing up, with multiple boys in baseball did it.  I am worn out!  Even though it's been very time consuming, it's been fun.  Something about being out at the ball fields brings back so many memories of my childhood.  Maybe that's why I like it, I feel young again! :)

A few pics of W:

A few pics of T:
 T's cute team huddle
If you want a good chuckle, watch this video of T "sliding" into homeplate.  There was no threat of an out.  His team just likes to slide to homeplate and T was just dying to show me his skills!

This is where you will find C most games.  He's covered in dirt every time.  But isn't that what little kids do at the ball fields???
Something that I will always remember about the ball fields are all the fun treats.  I loved going to the snack shack and getting suicides and those crazy rainbow gummy cone sucker things.  Anyone remember those??  What were they called - astropops or something??  Anyway, we've been pretty good about letting our kids have those fun treats too.

Easter 2013

This Easter was extra special because we got to spend it with family.  The Jones family was in town and it was the first "holiday" we had family in our house.  I must admit, I loved it!  I loved fixing the meal and just being hostess.  My boys loved it because they got extra special goodies and attention.  ha!  Mark it down - this was the second year I got away with NOT dying easter eggs!!!  I have decided that if I just don't bring it up - they don't ask!  whoo-hoo!

This one was NOT into taking pictures before church.  Classic picture!
But he did take one good one in the bunch....
After church, it was on to the easter egg hunt.

Look mom - I found one!!!

A Visit from the Jones crew

I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged.  Time is getting away from me.  Baseball takes up most of my evenings and the daytime, well, is busy playing entertainer to a certain 3 yr old.  I have determined that in our past two homes our computer was in what was supposed to be a dining room and it was very convenient.  I hated it because it was too convenient and easy to sit down and waste time.  Now our computer is upstairs and I rarely go upstairs during the day.  Therefore, my blog has been slightly ignored.  So, I shall try to catch up....
At the end of March we had a great visit with S's family.  George and Colleen as well as Russell and Crystal came for a visit.  The boys love it when they come.  They were a little enamored by Russell this time around.  We took the Jones family out to Hoover Dam and also to our fav, Valley of Fire.  It was a good time had by all.  We love it when family comes to visit!!!

Valley of Fire (isn't it beautiful?!)

 Hoover Dam:

One night we left the kiddos with Nana and Papa and took Russ and Crystal out for a night on the town.  Haha!!  But we did get snazzy pics by the famous sign!
