Happy Thanksgiving!

Twas the Day Before Thanksgiving

Twas the day before Thanksgiving, so our family decided to go to the zoo. Is it bad we took a 3wk old to the zoo? (oh yeah, he's our third, there's no rule) You can tell he was extremely excited to be there and just soaked it all in. HA!
We haven't traveled at Thanksgiving in about 8 yrs so we have the whole holiday to do whatever. Most of our meal this year is bought pre-made so there will be little cooking in our kitchen. We had a great family day yesterday and I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend. We will be Christmas tree shopping this weekend. Oh I love this time of year!

Update on T potty-training: He is doing GREAT! I can't believe how fast he is getting it. We have been accident free for the most part since last weekend.

Here's some highlights from our zoo adventure! T had a blast and walked the entire time there. We haven't been in about 6months so T was really into it this time around!

Second Time Around

We have spent the past week potty-training T. I must say the second time around has been less stressful and easier. I learned a lot from the first round and changed up a few things this time around. I am anti-pullup this time around. We only use them at nap time and nighttime. We have had our fair share of accidents this week and I've done laundry every day. There were a couple of days of regression from T but he's done so good this weekend. Today we have been accident free all morning! I hope this trend continues.

I bought a new potty for T and highly recommend it for any mom out there training a toddler. It's a frog potty (what toddler wouldn't like to pee on a frog?) It is not only simplistic and easy to clean, but T can sit on it very easily PLUS it is high in the middle to prevent any little boy from squirting pee all over the place! You can buy it at Walmart for $12 and it is well worth it!

For those of you wanting to see this week's picture of Chase, here ya go. Not the best but I didn't take too many this week. I now know why my parents had more pictures of my sisters than me (3rd child). HA!

Flying Solo

After two weeks at home, S went back to work today. So today is my first solo day with all three. So far so good but W had school all morning and it's only mid-afternoon. :) Here's some shots from this past week. Little C is now 2 weeks old. (I promise I won't do a play by play each week but this is for the grandparents. )

Our Attempt for Big Boy Status

This weekend I decided to start trying to potty train T. Not sure what I was thinking or if I was thinking at all. It's not going well but it's not going bad either....it's just going. I'll let you know if we keep it up or decide to postpone our status of becoming a big boy. At least he's having fun on the potty as you can tell...

One Week Old

Here's little C at one week old. He's been very easy going so far! Let's cross our fingers it continues!

Our First Soccer Season

W wrapped up his first soccer season this weekend. It was his best game of the season. He actually kicked the ball like 6 times! W was probably the youngest on his team and did pretty good considering he had never played before. Here's a few snapshots from the last game.
Here's W with his first "real" trophy
In action kicking the ball
Throwing the ball in
Unfortunately, this is how we looked most games - flying around like an airplane!
This is his move when he made a goal during practice. Not sure what he was doing(??)

Chase Arrives!

Trick or treat, we have someone new for you to meet!
Chase Christopher Jones
Born 10-31-09 @ 6:06pm
8lbs 4oz

Trick-or-Treat

Due to Chase deciding to arrive early, Shea and I were unable to trick or treat with the boys. I think I was more sad about this than the boys. However, the boys were able to go trick-or-treating with very good friends of ours. Ginny was actually our realtor here when we moved and became my first friend here. She and her husband Frank had just as much fun or more than our boys that night. My batman and robin had a fun fun night and got WAY TOO much candy! Thanks to Ginny, I have pictures to share with you all.
