This is my last post before we leave Southern Louisiana. We are powering down the Mac tomorrow in preparation for the movers. You're probably wondering why in the world my kids are standing in front of a very large cow. Well, this is a well-known landmark in Mandeville. We pass by it 95% of the time we go anywhere. Almost every time we pass by, one of my boys will yell "Big Cow". So, in honor of remembering the "big cow" we had to pose for a picture.
Living in Southern Louisiana has certainly been an experience. Let's see, just to name a few, we have added a third boy to our family, experienced Mardi Gras to its fullest, lived here while the Saints won their first Superbowl, crossed over the longest bridge in the world (for S this was a daily experience), been on a hurricane evacuation (that's an experience all in itself), and eaten LOTS of GREAT food! Not to mention all the new ways to spell words using the letter X. We have met several great people, whom we are pleased to call friends. I will dearly miss my friend Molly, who I believe is my long lost twin, we are that much alike.
So, goodbye Mandeville - hello DC. New adventures await us. Check back for posts from our new home in a week or so.
