Super Turtle
W had swim lessons the past two weeks. If they weren't so expensive, I would love to put him in again - he loved it and was good at it! He called himself "Super Turtle" because he could swim really fast (who heard of a fast turtle??) Anyway, I don't think his instructors ever knew his name because they always referred to him as Super Turtle.

Backyard Fun in the Sun
Ok, it's already way too hot down here. And we haven't even started summer officially! We broke out the baby pool this week. The boys had a lot of fun. T, as always, had to do everything his bubba did, except poor guy kept getting shot by W with the water and he couldn't figure out how to shoot his shooter. W better watch out by the end of summer!

Good Friends
We've been having some fun this week with our friends. It's been so hot and muggy (already) that we decided to go to the Trailhead Sprinkler Park. W took his friend Jack and they had a blast. You won't see T in any of the shots b/c he did not like the sprinklers. Hope he gets over that one soon.

Here's T with his best bud, Mason (T affectionately calls him "may-may"). These two play every week together and have the best time and not to mention wear each other out!

Busy Weekend
We've had a super busy weekend. Saturday, we went to the zoo. This was the first time we've been back since T has become aware of animals. He was so excited and walked almost the entire time. He thought he was big stuff. They had a dinosaur exhibit going on and we went through it. They had huge mechanical dinosaurs moving and roaring. Quite interesting. W loved it...T on the other hand clung to S for dear life.
W also went to his best bud's birthday party today. They had pony rides and all! Great party! This is W riding alongside his friend Connor, birthday boy.

Gotta Love Grandparents
When S and I had our first kid, one thing we said was "our kids will never have one of those battery operated vehicles!" Funny what you say in the beginning. Well, thanks to a visit from Nana and Papaw Jones, we can now say our children are proud owners of a John Deer Gator! W is absolutely obsessed and takes his driving very seriously (he's actually pretty good at it). T knows his place is on the passenger side and rides with joy every time. So, now the question is, will we have grass in our backyard or a bunch of Gator tracks?!?!

I forgot about this picture - T is not afraid of anything. He saw a lizard on the ground and got all excited and squealed. Then he decided to pick it up. Poor lizard never saw it coming. I can't wait for summer and find T with a snake in his hands!
