Lucky Duck

T is in the Duck class at school and each student gets the chance to bring home their mascot, Lucky Duck. This week was T's turn. After their time with Lucky Duck, they have to create a journal entry in Lucky Duck's journal. Here's our exciting adventure...
We started the morning by riding our bike in our pajamas to the bus stop.
Here we are by the bus sending W off to school.
Reading "Peter Pan" to Lucky Duck
We did a fun day at the mall and ate lunch at Lucky Duck's cousin chicken's restaurant
Riding bike with T - his favorite thing!
The afternoon would not be complete without play time outside!
Our final journal entry....
So long Lucky Duck....we enjoyed your visit!

What We've Been Up To...

Here's a little of what the boys have been up to lately:
W earned his Gold Stripe Belt in Taekwondo. Check out the video of our little ninja!

T just wrapped up his 8 week music class. It was a cute program where they learned all the music lingo and was introduced to an instrument each week. He learned a lot and can repeat just about anything he was taught but did not participate much in class. Only thing that got him going in class was trying out the instruments. Here's my little guy on the drums and the guitar (sorry only phone camera handy at the time)
And as for "little bit".....well let's just say he is up to NO GOOD! He's into and onto everything! He doesn't care too much about walking but he will climb onto just about anything he can. Just this week, we are seeing improvements in walking - he is standing on his own. I don't think it will be too much longer. Probably just in time for us to board a plane to head home for the holidays. HA!

The Big 1 Year Old!!

Happy Birthday to our "little boo". What a treat it was when he came last Halloween. Each year will be busy busy with birthday and Halloween combined but oh so much fun too. This year we did a quiet time together as a family before heading out to trick or treat. I love how I captured each month to see how much C has changed over the past year.

Hmmm....wonder what's inside?
Playing with his brothers on the ever popular busy ball popper!
Playing with my cars - I love cars!
Mom and Dad with the birthday boy. This is probably the only picture, since he was born, with us and just him
What is this on my head?
Just for me? Seriously, you're gonna let me have it?
What are you looking at?
Oh yeah...that was good!

Halloween Fun

Halloween has been one busy weekend. Here's highlights of our Halloween festivities.

Never fear - Iron Man is here
Our "package man"
Our little Tiger
We did some "trunk or treating" at our church Sat night.

And trick or treating in our neighborhood. We walked around with our buddy, Connor and Chase. We were surprised at how many people participated in our neighborhood. Great time!

Spook-tacular Breakfast Party

On Saturday we hosted a "Spook-tacular Breakfast" for all the kids that live around us in the neighborhood. We had quite the turnout. Now, before you think I'm such a creative person, I will tell you now that I got this idea off Gourmet Mom on the Go Blog. (I think her blog is becoming one of my favorites!) All the kids came in costume and we played games, decorated pumpkin cookies, and of course ate our spooky breakfast. I was entertaining kids so much and S was keeping up with C, we didn't get too many pictures. The kids seemed to have had a blast and it was a great way to get to know all the neighbors! Maybe we'll make this a tradition?

Here's the invitation (I got the idea off Parents.com)
The table all set:
Here was the menu:
Cocoa Puffs as "Bat Droppings"
Trix as "Frog Eggs"
Honeycomb as "Sticky Spider Webs"
Lucky Charms as "Bone Pieces"
Berry Kix as "Mysterious Eyeballs"
Marshmallows as "Ghost Drops"
The kids got to mix their own brew in hopes that they wouldn't turn into a frog!

The Adult Food:
Most of the kids mixing their brew
Some more of our friends. Elliot (Mr. Incredible) is a buddy W rides with on the bus and is in same kindergarten class.

T's Class Field Trip

Today T's class had his class field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was such a cute place. The patch had a gorgeous view of the mountains. However when I got there my camera battery was dead so all these were taken with my phone. It was so cute to see T interact with his friends from school (what little he did). Of course, the other two tagged along for the event. Fun was had by all!
Look at that view - on a clear day it would have been beautifulHere's mine!
T with his school buddies learning about apples

What a cutie!
Jumpin with friends on the gigantic jumping bean
Apparently this is what happens when you have too much fun on a class field trip
