Seaworld was up first. It was actually better than I expected. It is definitely my kind of amusement park. Very few rides so therefore no lines to wait in for long periods of time. The shows and exhibits were really pretty cool. The first thing we decided to do was the Dolphin Show. I mean you gotta see the famous guy skiing on two dolphins, right???
We then headed over to the sky tram and rode it over the bay. This was the best picture S got.
He had both T and C in his car. I had W. I was holding on the center bar too much to be concerned with pictures. ha! As we passed S and the other boys, I saw C sitting by himself on one side. I almost started to yell at S and as to why C was sitting all alone. He's the one who would have stood up and jumped off. After the ride, S told me T was holding onto him for dear life that's why C was by himself on the other side - but he did real good and sat still and loved every minute of it.
Next, we visited some fun exhibits. T loved the flamingos. And no, my kids did not want to ride that roller coaster in the background. C would have but he wasn't tall enough.
If I had to choose a favorite exhibit, it would probably have been the sea turtle one. They just had it set up really neat and colorful.
I think this was my first time to see a real walrus. That thing was huge....this picture DOES NOT do it justice. It was dinner time for him and his care keeper was in there feeding him. Very cool.

At the end of our visit, we allowed the kids to ride some rides in the sesame street section of the park. Here we are on the teacups:
And here's W on Elmos' flying fish. He rode solo while I rode with C and S rode with T.
The next day, we ventured to the San Diego Zoo. It's a neat zoo with a nice mixture of old and new.

One of the better elephant exhibits I've seen at a zoo.
This bird was just pretty cool. I can't even remember what it was. It was from Africa though.
The zoo had a sky tram similar to seaworld but it was one-way. It took you from one end of the zoo to the other. Pretty cool. And this time, I didn't hold the bar the whole time. ha!
Boys will be boys...
This was a path that cut through some of the zoo. It was really cool. All the trees and plants at the zoo are mature and grown so the whole thing reminds you of a jungle or something.
If you have noticed an absence of C in a lot of these pics, it's because he chose to ride in the stroller most of the day (I think seaworld did him in). But, here he is hanging on for dear life to a monkey.
If this picture didn't have the sun glare it would have been awesome. There's a giraffe right between the boys looking at me.
Ahhhh...the rino. Probably the boys' favorite. He pooped right in front of us. They thought that was pretty cool.
After we had walked our feet off, we decided to take the bus tour. We rode on top of the double decker bus and saw the rest of the zoo.

He missed the souvenir shopping but really seems to like what I got him. This pic sums up our time in San Diego!
