If you paid close attention to the last post, there was a little hint as to what is to come for the Jones family. (It was by total accident that it made it in to that post). But, this summer we are moving....
to Las Vegas!!
Crazy huh?!?! I never imagined living in DC much less living in Las Vegas. This little country girl is making her way around the country. We are super excited and ( and me nervous) all at the same time. There is so much to do and see in that part of the country. We didn't go looking for Vegas but the opportunity sort of presented itself to us at just the right time. Life is an adventure and we are excited to go to the next chapter. God knows what He is doing.
We told the boys this weekend. We started out by having them work their United States puzzle. Then we told them to point out all the places we have lived. Then we told them we were going to go WAY over here next.
They were crazy with excitement when we told them what all we could go and see and do there. Legoland (which is about 4 hrs away) was top on their list of things to do. W said he wants a house with a pool and T said "I want a hot tub". They are too cute. We'll see how they are in about 5 wks when it's time to go. I know they will miss their neighborhood buddies. We move the end of June and hope to be out there shortly after the 4th of July.

You'll be about 5 hours from my hometown of Bakersfield, not that its any place worth visiting. There is so much to see out West. A few of my favorites, which I'm sure are on your list...Grand Canyon and Yosemite! And I would highly recommend the pool!! The landscape might not be a lush green, but there will definitely be characteristics you'll love.
